Membership Information
George Johns Post 447 has been serving Central Texas Veterans, their families, and the Round Rock community since its charter in 1933. Active Post membership is key to maintaining and growing our Post. The financial benefits associated with membership are many and varied, however few surpass the spirit of goodwill and camaraderie that results from working alongside fellow Veterans while making a meaningful impact in the community. Throughout the year, we hold numerous fundraisers including BBQ Cook-offs, Golf Tournaments, Fish Frys, Shrimp Boils, and even a Flea Market. While few patrons would argue the fun and fellowship enjoyed, it's important to keep in mind we sponsor and support many causes including Cub Scout Squadron 447, local school JROTC groups, Boys State & Girls State, and an American Legion Riders Chapter.
